On January 22, we're offering a double-header of our beginner and intermediate rope bondage classes. This is a great way to dive head-first into rope bondage. It's also a great warmup for our upcoming suspension bondage class.

Take your rope skills to the next level

So you've learned a few knots, and you've spent some time tying people up. You're having fun, but you'd like to go further. This class will deepen your skills and teach you a variety of useful techniques and strategies to enhance your rope play.

Technical skills

Extending the simple building blocks from our first class, this class will introduce a range of more advanced knots and techniques including ladders, running rigging, and simple pulleys. You can use these techniques to start constructing more complex and ambitious scenes. In addition, we'll cover some specific positions that make use of these building blocks.

"Soft skills"

A good bondage scene isn't about knots. We'll cover style and pacing, rope handling skills, and more advanced scene management topics to help you create the experiences that you and your partner are looking for.

Take your skills home with you

Worried about remembering everything you learn in class? Our 20 page class handout includes detailed descriptions and step by step photos of all the techniques we cover during the class.

Logistics

We'll provide everything you need for the class, including practice rope. If you'd rather bring your own rope, we recommend one to four 15' lengths and one or two 30' lengths. We have an in-depth guide to rope and other gear, if you're looking for pointers.

Partners are handy, but not required.

This class is intended for people who have some experience with rope bondage and are interested in extending their skills. It's also suitable for ambitious beginners.
